Alexandra Stergiou is a Greek-American director based in Los Angeles, recognized for her work in non-fiction. She studied filmmaking and photography at NYU and Stanford. With over 10 years of experience, she has directed notable works like "The Act of Coming Out" (2022) and "Tyson Fury: The Gypsy King" (2020). Her films often explore themes of queerness and pop culture, receiving praise from industry leaders such as The New Yorker and Filmmaker Magazine, as well as recommendations from platforms like MUBI and Vimeo.

Stergiou's short film "And Then I Was Here" premiered at the Miami Film Festival in 2023 and was also featured at the San Francisco International Film Festival, where it was nominated for Best Documentary Short.
